Community Discipleship Groups
At Buccleuch we have Community Discipleship Groups (CDGs) where we study the Bible and pray together to strengthen our relationship with God and each other. Some of the groups are meeting online, while others are in person. You can join whichever group is most convenient for you – they’d all be delighted to have you join them. Student & Young Workers Ministry
The Students and Young Workers Ministry at Buccleuch seeks to serve university students and young workers by creating a loving, close-knit community where we can deepen personal relationships, strengthen our faith, and grow in love for Christ. A fortnightly lunch and Bible study is held on a Sunday afternoon. Social events are also regularly held throughout the term. If you are interested in getting connected please contact us.
Families
We enjoy the mix of ages that we have in church and try hard to minister to people whatever their stage might be.
For pre-school children and babies we have a creche during the morning service. Junior Church (P1-P7) takes place during the 11am service with games, crafts, stories and quizzes all used to teach God’s word in a fun way. Teens Bible Class (S1-4) meet on a Sunday evening for informal Bible study and discussion. All our volunteers are PVG checked.
On a Friday morning we run Toddlers at Buccleuch between 9.30 and 11am. Join us for fun and friendship every Friday during the school term. You don’t need to book a space, just turn up between 9.30 and 11am, and there’s no charge. Donations are welcome but there’s no obligation – we’d love to meet you and your little one! Toddlers isn’t running at the moment – but watch this space!
Women’s Ministry
We want to equip and encourage women to be rooted in their faith as they seek a deeper relationship with God and one another. As with all our activities, our women’s ministry has moved online for the time being.
ROOTED
Rooted is our women’s Bible study which meets fortnightly on a Tuesday at 9.30am. This term Rooted are looking delving into the book of Mark.
