From this Sunday we will now have our collection plate for donations out at the morning and evening services. The money collected at 10.30am will go towards our general expenses. The money collected in the evening will go to our new Mission Support Fund.
In 2022 we would like to support two of our mission partners – Craig Anderson and the church plant in Galashiels and Manuel and Patty Reano who work teaching and counselling in Colombia. We are prayerfully looking to raise £8000 with our Mission Support Fund this year by way of financial support.
A well as having our collection plate out, for those of us who no longer carry cash, we are able to take card donations. The contactless reader is really easy to use – enter the amount, tap your card and then enter your email/number if you’d like a receipt.
Paul speaks to the church in Corinth of ‘the grace of giving.’ Our prayer is that these developments will help us as a church to be growing in that grace together.
