November was a busy month – so busy we didn’t write a blog post! What were you up to I hear you ask? Well…

We were delighted to welcome 6 new members to the Buccleuch Family at New Member Sunday, what a joyful service that was and we thank God for his goodness to us. We also thank God for the children in our congregation, one of whom had a 9th birthday and brought us cake to share.

We continued our Community Discipleship Group bible studies series ‘Life on the Frontline’ which is all about being a Christian in the place God has put you now. Your ‘frontline’ might be work, home, school, university, the gym – basically wherever you go!

Last, but definitely not least, we finished the month by participating in the Generation National Day of Prayer on November 27th. As well as praying in our homes, we prayed in Buccleuch at lunchtime and then again in the evening. We prayed for our church, the denomination, the wider church in Scotland and the world. We prayed for our governments and sought God’s wisdom and guidance for ourselves and those in power.

The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.
