We run a rolling programme of free Christian education and training courses. From October to December we run Christianity Explored and from February to March, Everything you wanted to know about God but were afraid to ask. These take place on Thursday evenings beginning with a meal at 6.30 pm and finishing at 8.30 pm. |
Outreach
Our assistant minister, Bob Akroyd, leads outreach to homeless and other disadvantaged people, through Bethany Christian Trust and other contacts.
In addition, the Monday Club reaches out to young people in the area round the church.
Student Ministry
Bob Akroyd also conducts a ministry to students, in the congregation and as Free Church Chaplain to Edinburgh University.
Forum

Forum meets at 20:30 on Sunday nights and provides an opportunity to discuss subjects raised by the evening service. It's a forum to ask questions, to learn from each other and to apply the Bible's teaching to ourselves and the situations we face. It's held in the homes of different people in the congregation. Preaching
The preaching is shared by the minister and the assistant minister. Sermons in MP3 format can be found here.
There are regular Guest Services,
giving an opportunity for the congregation to invite friends to hear the Christian message explained.
