Everyone is welcome at Buccleuch. Since the church first met in 1843, our purpose is still the same: to worship God, enjoy fellowship with one another and support the local community through various outreach programmes.
Our Sunday services are Bible-led and we worship from the New International Version (NIV) - one of the world’s leading contemporary translations of the Bible. A typical Sunday service involves praise (ranging from the 3000 year old Psalms to contemporary hymns in a variety of musical styles), prayers led by the ministry team, a children’s talk, Bible readings and a sermon by the minister.
During the morning service, children leave to attend Junior Church. We actively encourage any parent or guardian who doesn’t attend Buccleuch to drop off their young ones so that they can learn about the Bible and its stories – they’re a great foundation and moral compass for any young person! Please note: all those who work with children are trained and disclosed for child protection.
Thanks to our central location, we are easily accessible to people of all ages from any background – so please feel free to visit us or learn more here.
