About Buccleuch
Buccleuch's congregation is made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds, from the city, from throughout the UK and from overseas.
As well as our regular Sunday services, we also learn together in discussion Bible Studies in people's homes, and we provide various opportunities to approach God in prayer.
In addition to activities geared to the congregation, we also seek to serve and reach out to the community through:
- Christianity Explored courses
- University Chaplaincy
- Prison Chaplaincy
- Ministry to the homeless
- Ministry to internationals
- Youth outreach.
The Church has disabled access, parking and toilet facilities, and is equipped with an induction loop for those with hearing difficulties.
The full title of the church is Buccleuch & Greyfriars, and Buccleuch is pronounced "Bu-clew" with the emphasis on the last syllable!
